an introduction to pickleball at the Évian Resort Tennis Club

To mark International Pickleball Day, the Évian Resort is offering an introduction to this rapidly growing sport, which combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis.

Held at the Évian Tennis & Rackets Sports Club, this introductory session allows you to explore a new sport in a unique setting on the shores of Lake Geneva.

Open to all guests staying at the Royal and Ermitage hotels. Suitable for all abilities, this experience is part of the Évian Resort’s range of sporting activities.

Saturday 8 August – 10.30am and 3.30pm

Each session is structured around an immersive learning experience, allowing you to discover pickleball in the best possible conditions:

• An introduction to the basics of the game and its essential rules
• Targeted technical guidance on key strokes (dink, drive, serve and return, and approaching the ‘kitchen’)
• Practical scenarios in the form of matches, to integrate tactical basics in a fun and friendly atmosphere
