Our bar and its terrace are open.The Hôtel Royal cherishes Le Bar, a place that is emblematic of the Belle Epoque. With its chic, timeless feel, “Le Bar” welcomes you for an aperitif or to enjoy a cake during afternoon tea. In summer, guests staying at the hotel can also enjoy the Pool Bar by the outdoor pool. 

Open daily from 10.30 am to 12. am
Finger food menu from 12pm to 10pm.

A fusion of luxury and interior design

 

The music varies throughout the day and the I.Rain ceiling light hanging above the bar, designed by interior designer François Champsaur, gives the place a timeless feel. In summer, the terrace, with its panoramic view of Lake Geneva, is the perfect place for sampling a drink and taking things easy. A stunning setting in which to savour the Signature Cocktails created by the maestro Davide Trupia, the Hôtel Royal’s Bar Director, and his talented teams. 

After-dinner drinks, spirits, whiskies from around the world, champagnes and wines are also featured on the Bar's drinks list.

Signature Cocktails

Davide Trupia and his team have concocted a menu of exceptional alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, including their own original creations, a selection of prestige cocktails and, of course, the timeless classics.

Vintage Negroni

A signature creation of the house, this Vintage Negroni is matured for two months in oak casks and offers a new take on the celebrated classic.

The Beer Hôtel Royal

Try the Bière du Royal, a blonde ale flavoured with pineapple sage and garden honey. This beer has been specially created by the Hôtel Royal’s sommeliers and craft brewers at Le Mazot brewery.

Discover the Hôtel Royal’s house gin. Crafted in collaboration with the Vert de Cœur distillery, this is the outcome of a perfect blend of verbena, harvested from our kitchen garden, and hops.

In the afternoon, a selection of exceptional coffees, chocolates, signature lattes, teas and other refreshments can be served with a cake or pastry.

The Hôtel Royal’s Pâtisserie and Bar staff will be delighted to serve you Afternoon Tea in the purest English tradition. The offering includes a variety of seasonal sandwiches and a selection of great British pastry classics such as scones filled with rich cream, all accompanied by tea or a glass of champagne.

Cocktail Academy

Bar director Davide Trupia welcomes you to join him behind the Hôtel Royal’s iconic bar. Take part in a mixology workshop and he will share his passion and know-how with you during an haute couture cocktail experience!

Not only is he a maestro and a master alchemist, but also a dedicated connoisseur of spirits and aromas, on a constant quest for that spark that will capture your heart from the very first sip of his creation.

Every fortnight, on Saturdays. Workshops available subject to prior booking (except during periods when the Hôtel Royal is closed), and subject to availability.

The Pool Bar offers you an idyllic setting in which to relax and soak up the sun. 
An extensive selection of refreshing beverages is available.
Choose from classic and inventive cocktails, freshly pressed fruit juices, and refreshing herbal teas. Our experienced barmen will serve you an incredible explosion of flavours.   

Make yourself comfortable on our poolside sun loungers and use our bar service to fulfil your every desire for refreshments. Whether you fancy a colourful, fruity cocktail, a revitalising juice or a fragrant herbal tea, our team will be delighted to recommend options to suit your taste and preferences.
