Four-hands dinner with Stéphane Buron, guest of Patrice Vander
A return to haute cuisine at the Hôtel Royal with a four-handed dinner prepared by two iconic chefs. Stéphane Buron, double Michelin-starred chef at the gourmet restaurant Le Chabichou in Courchevel, joins our Chef Patrice Vander in his kitchens for an extraordinary evening. Beneath Gustave Jaulmes’ frescoes, exquisite, outstanding ingredients will be given pride of place dazzling the connoisseurs who will have the pleasure of tasting this special menu, co-created by the chefs, for the love of their craft.
Stéphane Buron
After cutting his teeth at prestigious establishments such as Le Relais in Mougins, the Palm Court Hotel in Florida and L'Élysée in Paris, he joined Le Chabichou in Courchevel in 1987. He rose through the ranks to become head chef in 2000 alongside Michel Rochedy. Since the establishment was taken over by the Lavorel group in 2018, he has been overseeing the entire Food & Beverage offering, perpetuating the culinary excellence of the venue.
Recognised by his peers and gastronomic guides, he has accumulated numerous distinctions and commitments.
Awarded two Michelin stars since 1985, rated 17.5/20 in Gault & Millau, ranked 13th in the world on La Liste 1000, he also won the Taittinger Prize in 2002 and was crowned Chef of the Year 2021 and then Chef of Honour 2024. An active member of numerous prestigious culinary associations, he passionately embodies the values of transmission, high standards and creativity that make French cuisine so renowned.
