Yog'Apnee - 25th October

25 Oct 2024

Hotel Royal

This is a brand-new practice that combines breathwork and increased self-awareness.  There are no records or stopwatches involved. Instead, you’ll become much more aware of your mental and physical capabilities.

Schedule (3 hours):

  • Yoga session (1 hour) followed by a  free diving session in an aquatic environment* (90 minutes)
  • Time for discussion and preparing equipment (30 minutes)

The entire session is led by two professionals from these two disciplines so that each one can provide participants with guidance and advice related to their area of specialisation.

After a general introduction, the yoga session begins with exercises to relax muscles followed by breathwork. While the yoga teacher monitors the participants’ poses, the free diving expert explains how the exercises can help with free diving.  At the end of the session, an essential discussion time takes place in order to prepare for the second section of free diving, and to put on the neoprene wetsuit.

Just like for the yoga session, the free diving session begins with various exercises in order to achieve a deep awareness of one's body and capabilities in an aquatic environment. It is then the yoga teacher’s turn to assist participants in  “letting go”, an essential part of being able to gradually do the free dive.

Private or group session (3 to 6 people maximum)

Reservation required - 9 a.m. to midday

180€ per person

*In the pool at the Hôtel Royal or in Lake Geneva
